Welcome to the homepage of The Julie D. Foundation, a fundraising organization inspired by the life and spirit of Julie D'Agostino. 
 

The Julie D. Foundation’s mission is simple, to keep the spirit of Julie D. alive by continuing to raise awareness and give support to the causes that she cared about most.

 

On August 7, 2015, beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many, Julie D’Agostino passed away due to complications from her second lung transplant after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is a life-threatening, progressive, genetic illness that predominantly affects the lungs and pancreas. Though Julie was dealt a bad hand in life, her positive attitude, courageous determination, and utterly magnetic charm defined her far more than her diagnosis did. Julie’s commitment to kindness, exuberant personality, and loving disposition despite her illness made her a hero to many and an inspiration to all.

 

Whether you know someone with CF, someone who has bravely fought a similar long-term illness, or anyone who has experienced the miracle of organ donation, you know what a blessing it is to have heroes like Julie in our lives. The Julie D. Foundation plans to give back to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Gift of Hope whom, without their support, we would not have been able to enjoy Julie’s smile for the years we did. Additionally, the Foundation will help fund a scholarship in Julie’s name at Immaculate Conception College Prep, Julie’s alma mater.
